Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented Admissions Associate Director to join our enrollment team on a part-time basis. This role is critical in managing our applicant pipeline, guiding prospective families through the enrollment journey, and supporting the strategic enrollment goals of the school.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in independent school admissions and must be highly proficient with the Ravenna enrollment management platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Management: Serve as a primary administrator for the Ravenna admissions platform, managing applicant profiles, scheduling events, tracking checklist completion, and processing application materials.

  • Family Relationship Management: Act as a warm and welcoming point of contact for prospective families. Respond to inquiries, provide detailed information about Bowman’s programs, and guide applicants through the admissions process.

  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of admissions events, including open houses, campus tours, information sessions, and student assessment days.

  • Committee Support: Assist in preparing applicant files and data reports for review by the Admissions Committee.

  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate weekly enrollment reports using Ravenna to help track progress toward institutional goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in admissions, financial aid, or student services, preferably within an independent Pre-K–12 school setting.

  • Technical Skills: Mandatory proficiency with the Ravenna platform. Strong overall tech-savviness, including experience with Google Workspace and database management.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally and empathetically with a diverse range of families, faculty, and administrators.

  • Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently within a 20-hour weekly schedule, with occasional flexibility required for weekend or evening admissions events.

Schedule & Compensation

  • 20 hours per week (schedule can be negotiated, but regular weekly availability during school hours is required).

  • Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
