Project Manager Fellowship (ID: PM-KC)

Bay Area, CA (50% Remote) | Part-Time

  • Nonprofit: A Bay Area nonprofit innovation center

  • Responsibilities: Assist with projects ranging from research, events, marketing, and grants

  • Skills required: 7-10 years of paid work experience, Experience using MS Office, Google Suite, Zoom. Attention to detail, lifelong learner, foundation in tech sector.

  • Work Location: 50% remote, 50% onsite in South Bay 

  • Commitment: 1000 hours (Flexible, half-time for 12 months)

  • Stipend: $25,000 paid over the course of the fellowship

While a majority of our Fellowships are executive-level roles and suitable for recently retired experienced professionals, we occasionally receive mid-level nonprofit Fellowships that are ideal for women seeking to return to work after taking some gap years. Encore Fellowships entail working with the leadership team and often lead to staff roles, enabling fellows to learn new skills and find long-term, flexible, and paid meaningful second acts.

Since 2009, over 2,300 Encore Fellows have contributed more than 2 million hours of talent to nonprofits in over 50 cities across the US.
