In this 2 hour workshop, you will learn how to apply creative design principles and tools so that you can identify your best fit job and present yourself in a way that resonates with the hiring team. We start with articulating your story for greater clarity and impact. Then continue with a deep dive into how to consider your target organizations for optimal results.
This is a creative, interactive, visual approach where you will begin to develop your custom job search strategy that will help you discover and connect to your next career move. You will come away with fresh ideas that you can put into action right away.
Bio:
Susie is the Founder of StartupAndRunning.com, a consultancy that helps organizations, creatives and job seekers get up and running with their new projects. Most recently, Susie led Talent Management for Light, a camera tech startup developing high-resolution imaging technology for small form factor devices. In her role, she helped the team grow 7x and close 3 successful rounds of financing for over $175M. Other startup experiences include leading HR and Operations at Tilt Video, a video software company and building the Sales Operations team at Education Elements, an ed tech startup working with innovative schools nationwide to personalize learning. Prior to working in startups, Susie spent over a decade designing curriculum, mentoring new teachers and delivering elementary art education for PAUSD. Susie’s early consulting career focused on designing efficient processes with interdisciplinary teams in the healthcare and manufacturing categories. Susie has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
